Picture this

Picture this ...

You are eleven years old and playing a game of hide and seek with you family. With great success you have found everyone except mom. Where or where could she be? You checked upstairs in all the rooms and closets. You looked under the beds and in the bathrooms, you even turned on the light into the closet and reached in to try and look in the cold room but the door was locked .... In a moment of such excitement it did not cross your mind that the cold room door does not lock.

Your nine year old sister comes running down the stairs to help you find that last person. Your sister has many ideas of helping you get that door unlocked however you, being the utmost fearful one in the family, shrug off the idea and proceed to head up the stairs.... But Wait!!!! Your Sister yells for you to come quick to see what she has observed.

As you round the corner and stare at the little door within the closet you notice the handle twisting back and forth. "Mom!" you shout "stop goofing around". If only we could all see the look on your face. The door stops twisting for only a few seconds but then the door slowly creaks open. Then before you even know what is going on, the door fly's open and out bursts someone with a deep holler. You lunge backward and bang you head on the wall, while your sister is already screaming at the top of the stairs. There in the door way stands your proud mom bursting with laughter as your heart is beating out of your chest.

I love Hide and Seek. The best boredom breaker of all.
