Rain from heaven

You know the saying "when it rains it pours"? Well, that's usually what we say when things go wrong in our household. Today was different though. Blaine came home from work utterly discouraged about his job. As we sat and talked about the kids schooling and his job and other issues going on things did not seem so bright and chipper. This time instead of letting it bring us down we fixed supper together and talked things through. After supper I gave the kids the option of walking to the store and getting a treat or having ice cream cones and walking to go get the mail. To my surprise they chose ice cream cones. Blaine brought out the sauce and the sprinkles and we began our concoctions. Keegan took one lick of his cone and said. "mmmm it's like rain from heaven." We then went on our walk stopping along the way to climb hills, visit relatives and make snow angles. It wasn't pouring like we could have chosen. Instead it was raining from heaven.

Thanks Bryce. God has been doing some scary yet really good things with us lately. It's good to know that others are backing you up with their prayers also.
